Katy Butler

Katy Butler is an American journalist and essayist and author of the nonfiction narrative, Knocking on Heaven’s Door, the Path to a Better Way of Death (Scribner, 2013). She is currently writing a second nonfiction book for Scribner tentatively entitled, The Lost Art of Dying. Scheduled for publication in 2018, it is a practical guide to navigating medicine in the final third of life.
